Richard Lenne
Optometrist
Richard completed undergraduate training in 1992 and a Masters degree in 1994. He worked in Swan Hill and North Queensland before returning to Victoria in 2000 to commence work at Horsfalls along with his wife Suzy.
Richard completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2006, enabling him to prescribe ophthalmic medicines. His clinical interests include all aspects of primary eye care. Richard has presented at several state conferences and enjoys teaching students on rotation from the University of Melbourne. He is often asked to present eye care information to community groups in Echuca-Moama, Kyabram and Rochester.
Richard is a member of Optometry Australia (OA) and the Australian College of Optometry (ACO).
In his spare time, Richard enjoys playing chess.
Suzanne Lenne
Optometrist
Suzy currently works part-time in the Echuca practice. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1992, and worked in private practice in Swan Hill and Townsville before commencing employment at Horsfalls. She has a particular interest in children’s vision and behavioural optometry.
Suzy is a member of Optometry Australia (OA), the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO) and the Australian College of Optometry (ACO).
Outside optometry, Suzy enjoys singing in River Voices choir and learning French.
Andrew Knight
Optometrist
Andrew graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Optometry in December 2003. He joined the practice in May 2004, and in 2008 completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics. Andrew has an interest in ocular pathology, contact lenses and co-management of refractive surgery patients.
Andrew also provides domiciliary visits to local aged-care facilities, and is a member of Optometry Australia (OA) and the Australian College of Optometry (ACO).
Adam Gloury
Optometrist
Adam completed his optometry training in 2007, graduating from the University of Melbourne with a degree that includes therapeutic qualification and joined the practice in February 2008. He is interested in pathological presentations as well as therapeutic management of anterior eye disease. Adam is also interested in contact lens practice as well as tailored prescribing for specific sporting and hobby pursuits. Adam is a member of Optometry Australia (OA), the Australian College of Optometry (ACO) and the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA). He is also a credentialed optometrist with CASA and provides eye examinations for aviation medicals.
Michelle Lucas
Optometrist
Michelle joined the practice in early 2016. She studied at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree which includes a therapeutic qualification.
Michelle has particular interest in children’s vision and also in specialty hard contact lens fitting.
Michelle is a member of Optometry Australia (OA), the Australian College of Optometry (ACO), and the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA).
Kara Mitchell
Optometrist
Kara graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1996 and completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2015.
Kara worked in Swan Hill and Shepparton before joining Horsfalls in 2017. She is currently consulting in the Kyabram practice.
Bryan Fuller(retired)
Optometrist
Bryan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1979 and has been at Horsfalls for almost thirty years. He has a keen interest in children’s vision and completed a fellowship in Behavioural Optometry in 2000. Bryan provides contact lens services for all ages but in particular children. He maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the latest spectacle lens technologies including industrial eye protection.
Bryan has an ongoing involvement in the optometric profession at a state and national level and is a member of Optometry Australia (OA), the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO), the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) and the Australian College of Optometry (ACO). Bryan is on the Board of Management of both the independent practice buying group Provision and the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO).
When not involved in his many professional commitments, Bryan enjoys a game of bridge.
